Parent Taught Driver Education
Guidelines for parents who wish to teach their child to drive. Prior to teaching a department approved parent taught driver education course, an instructor must submit a completed Request for Parent Taught Driver Education Information Packet form with a non-refundable fee to the Texas Department of Public Safety. A Parent Taught Driver Education Information packet will be provided to the requestor.
